Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 — 1 October 2026.

This policy is written for Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370), Connecticut's consumer health data provisions and similar state laws. It applies to everyone who uses Outgrit. Our full Privacy Policy is at outgrit.app/privacy.

Who we are

Outgrit is operated by an independent developer based in Budapest, Hungary. Contact: official@outgrit.app.

The consumer health data we collect

  • What you log: meals, drinks, supplements, and the words you say or type when you log them.
  • Check-ins: self-reported energy, mood, soreness, focus, stress, digestion, motivation and notes.
  • Body details: date of birth, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals and your race date.
  • Apple Health metrics you allow: sleep, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, workouts.
  • Fuel and Restore (members): your fuelling plan, products tested, how your stomach felt after a session, wind-down entries.
  • What we compute: daily summaries and statistical observations from the above.

We do not collect precise location, biometric identifiers, reproductive or sexual health data, or genetic data.

Why we collect it

Only to provide the features you use: recording your logs, mirroring your metrics, drafting entries you confirm, computing your summaries, findings and weekly report, and running Fuel and Restore. We never use it for advertising and never sell it.

Where it comes from

From you (what you say, type and confirm), from Apple Health on your device (only what you authorise), and from our own calculations on that data.

Who we share it with

Only our service providers, who process it for us and for no other purpose:

  • Supabase (on Amazon Web Services) stores your records.
  • OpenAI reads a transcript to draft a meal or check-in.
  • Apple transcribes your voice (Apple Speech; no audio is kept).

And with people you choose, only if you turn it on: the members of your crews see which days of the week you trained and your race (presence), and the week shapes you share (routine cards). Each kind needs its own consent in the app, and Go quiet or turning it off stops it. Food, sleep, heart rate, HRV, weight, supplements and your words are never shared with anyone.

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with any other third party or affiliate. If that ever changes, we will ask for your separate consent first.

We collect consumer health data only after you consent, in the app, after you create an account. You can:

  • see and download all of it: You → Privacy → Export everything;
  • delete all of it: You → Delete account (live systems at once, backups within 30 days);
  • withdraw consent at any time in You → Privacy;
  • ask which service providers received your data, or anything else here, at official@outgrit.app.

We answer requests within 45 days. If we decline one, reply with "appeal" and we will respond within 45 days; if you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general (in Washington, the Washington State Attorney General's Office).
